Don E. Smith

Don E. Smith is the founder and chief strategist of Encore Business Performance, LLC., a business, marketing communications and coaching services firm. An accomplished communicator with over thirty years of diverse experience, Don has held both entrepreneurial and corporate positions in a variety of fields including financial services, entertainment, manufacturing, healthcare, food service, graphics, defense, academics and marketing.
Don is a graduate of CoachU and has been an executive and personal development coach since 1999. Among Don’s clients are GE, MCI, KX Industries, Tri-State Financial, and Nestlé Waters. He is a former faculty member of both Sacred Heart and Quinnipiac Universities where he instructed in communications and marketing respectively.
Inspired by the concept of the Victory Circles, Don requested opening up the Circles to include men’s groups as well. The idea was embraced by Victory Circles founder Cheri Ruskus because, with Don’s insight, she realized that yes, in fact, men need support too. While it would be great to have mixed gender Circles in the future for now, perspective Circle members can expect to join a gender specific both Circle allowing the men’s groups could do their guy thing and women’s groups could do their gal thing, to the benefit of all.
