Summer 2009 Editorial
Do you remember the hazy, lazy days of childhood summers?
Day after day of enjoying the joys that only can be found in summer time fun. Splish splashing in the cool pleasure of the pool, ocean or lake as well as perhaps bonfires and fireside chats during clear summer evenings.
As grown ups, most of us have to mix the pleasures of the season with the work of making a living. If indeed you look at it as “work.” The joy of being an entrepreneur is that you can move your work around your lifestyle – being careful not to go too extreme one-way or the other. It’s all in the proverbial balance of it all I suppose.
For me, working from my home office, I love being able to look up from my desk to see the pool, garden and beautiful Rocky Mountains beyond. During the course of the day I try to jump out there and squeeze in some fun, with some days being easier than others.
Having the proper tools to keep our business running smoothly is always helpful in having the fun element pop into place. It is our hope that the articles in this Summer Issue from Thinking Your Way to Success,to Giving Your Customers the Royal Treatment will give you the ammo to having more fun in work and in play!
Remember while making a living, the ultimate goal is to make it a great life!
